IT Workshop Report

ICT cum Soft skills/Expository Writing Workshop As part of M. Ed curriculum the first year M. Ed students of NSS Training College Ottapalam conducted a Workshop on 19-8-2019 Monday. The workshop was inaugurated by Sri. Rajiv Warrier and Co-ordinated by Dr K S Sajan (Asst.Proffesor NSSTC).The students have actively participated in the workshop. The lab work was started in the afternoon section. Sajan sir assigned a task to create a blog for education and to upload documents like word, excel, voice, video, PowerPoint, of the already assigned topic. Sir helped each and every student individually when desired. After five days on 26-8-2019 @ 4.45pm workshop was finished. All the students created their own blogs and uploaded documents successfully. Sajan sir evaluated workshop and two students Akhil Raj (M. Ed maths) & Kavitha (M.Ed English) spoke about the workshop and about its effectiveness. Sampling Notes

SAMPLING Sampling   is a statistical procedure that is concerned with the selection of the individual observation; it helps us to make statistical inferences about the population. In sampling, we assume that samples are drawn from the population and sample means and population means are equal. A population can be defined as a whole that includes all items and characteristics of the research taken into study. However, gathering all this information is time-consuming and costly. We therefore make inferences about the population with the help of samples. There are two branches in statistics, descriptive and inferential statistics. Of these two main branches, statistical sampling concerns itself primarily with inferential statistics. The basic idea behind this type of statistics is to start with a statistical sample.
